Ingo Maurer originally designed Bibibibi as a wedding gift for a couple he was friends with. To create it he combined red plastic bird legs with a black metal screen and a porcelain plate that reflects light. The tilt of the metal screen with the bulb is adjustable. The white plate creates a pleasant indirect light. It's also a great place to place beautiful little objects that you don't want to lose sight of.
