Fil de Fer is a molded and woven aluminum wire lamp,
illuminated inside by small bulbs.
Designed and created by Enzo Catellani, it is his most precious creation.
It was born almost twenty years ago by a commission, but it did not meet expectations and therefore it was not used for that project. Thus, she remained hanging in her laboratory, but every time she is seen on she manages to enchant. It has something special and magical. Then Enzo Catellani decides to continue working on it to improve it. Later it will go on the market and will become the most representative icon of Catellani & Smith.
