Anima
Filiform sculpture, light, ephemeral, abstract, it is an ideogram without weight.
Absence and essence of light.
It is the emotion of indirect light with an aesthetic in balance between Scandinavia and Japan, two seemingly distant cultures, but in reality very close to each other.
At the top, an unclosed circle of fine metal as if it were a hook for fishermen of souls.
It is born from a reflection by Davide Groppi and Giorgio Rava on twentieth-century art and on the "filiform sculptures" of Fausto Melotti, metaphysical matter that invades space with light and musical rhythm.
Anima is a lamp that can be used on the floor or in low furniture, to be close to us or to create depth. It is a lamp to enjoy it for its essentiality and its scenic power.
